The 18th Annual LGBTI Pride Celebration will be held in Asbury Park, New Jersey from noon to 7 p.m. today. The parade will kicks off at noon at at Cookman Avenue and Main Street and ends at Bradley and Atlantic parks, Fifth Avenue and Kingsley Street, where a festival and rally will be held until 7 p.m.
The gay pride event has been held in Asbury Park since its inception and includes the parade, entertainment, food, arts and crafts, exhibits and family-oriented activities, according to a release from Jersey Pride, which organizes the celebration each year. (source)
