Ann Curry and Don Lemon to headline NLGJA Convention in Philadelphia

Ann Curry, new co-anchor of NBC's "Today" show, and Don Lemon, prime-time weekend anchor for CNN, will be keynote speakers at the National Lesbian & Gay Journalists Association convention in Philadelphia this August 25-28.

"We are very pleased that both of these exceptional journalists will be sharing their experiences to help NLGJA work towards fairness, accuracy and diversity in news coverage," said NLGJA National President David Steinberg.

Curry, formerly news anchor for "Today" for 14 years, was named in May as Matt Lauer's co-anchor. July Blockbuster Showdown

With the third and final installment of Transformers making a statement over the holiday weekend, now it's time to gear up for the two blockbusters that I've been anticipating for months.

On July 15th, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 will storm into theaters. Two weeks later, the delicious Chris Evans will stake his claim to the summer blockbuster throne with the first new Captain America film. Which of these two are you most excited to see? Check out the trailers below and cast your vote in the comments section!

Supergay and the Attack of his Ex-Girlfriends.

Supergay, available now from the App Store for $3.99, has become, according to Spanish publisher Klicrainbow, the first game to openly explore homosexuality, gay pride and the fear of coming out.

The game casts players in the role of Dr. Tom Palmer, a scientist working on cloning technology while struggling to come to terms with his own sexuality.

In traditional comic-book manner, something goes terribly wrong and Palmer becomes the pink and black-clad superhero Supergay, armed with a Rainbow Ray.

The episodic adventure, which as of now contains ten chapters, features a variety of different gameplay styles, ranging from fighting to stealth via rhythm action.

Do we really need this? Do gay kids growing up today ever have an ex-girlfriends??

Dolly "Together You and I"

Madonna, Cher and Lady Gaga nothing! My favorite celebrity is Dolly Parton because she writes her music, sings it live, plays instruments, acts, produces...on and on....Plus, she has a theme park! No one else has a theme park.

Anyway, she released her new video and song "Together You and I" which is just so inspirational and timely. Check it out.

Mitt Romney "I didn't say the things were worse"

The DNC put together this little video called "the Google"....asking whether Mitt Romeny has ever heard of the little search enging. Check it out.

India's Health Minister says homosexuality is a disease

India's Health Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad, said Homosexuality was a disease that had been brought into India by foreigners. He goes on to say that unlike prostitutes it's very difficult to locate homosexuals because no one knows who they are or where they live. Incredibly the health minister was speaking at a conference on AIDS.

Obama visits Philadelphia

President Obama was in Philadelphia yesterday for a big David Cohen (Comcast) fundraiser. While here, he talked about only being in office 2 1/2 years - telling the crowd he still has another 5 1/2 years to fix the mess the Republicans created......ok, I added the Republican part.

Below is an ad running in Allentown, PA from one of those candidates Obama talked about attacking him.
