Bishop Harry Jackson Jr. Placed Curse on Washington Blade

The Washington Blade got their hands on a recording of Bishop Harry Jackson Jr. saying he placed a curse on the paper in 2009. Jackson led the fight to stop gay marriage in the district and of course the Washington Blade was not his best friend.

“As I was walking past it (Blade Newspaper Box) I looked at that newsstand and it had some article about same-sex marriage — all of that stuff on it,” he said. “And I laid hands on that newsstand and I said, ‘In the name of Jesus, I curse this paper!”
