This year’s event will take place at Encore & Brasil's (112 Chestnut St) – only one block from Penn’s Landing – the site of the gay Pride Festival. Starting at 2 PM, guests will be treated to the Mr. Gay Philadelphia Competition plus "The Queen of the Circuit" - Legendary DJ/Producer Morabito!
Are you the next Mr. Gay Philadelphia?
Philadelphia Mr. Gay gives any gay resident in the region an opportunity to fight for the local crown. Any openly gay resident of Philadelphia or the five-country region can register to participate in the local Mr. Gay contest. While anyone meeting those criteria is allowed to compete, many contestants represent local LGBT businesses and community organizations. All entrants will compete in two rounds of competition, 1) causal wear and 2) show your pride - swimsuit. During the swimsuit round the contestants will be given 1 question to answer. The judges will score the rounds and answers and determine the top 3 winners.
